Soooo excited! Just got really pumped becauuuuse i am going to start "training" for cross country!! Are'nt you excited for me? No? Completely understandable... But since I'm going to be starting high school next year, er, this year I guess... and since I am done with dance, I mean DONE WITH IT!!!!!! 11years of doing it has gotten a bit old, and I am obviously NOT built to be a dancer, I figured I might as well start something new.
In the middle of an arguement with my mom who really wanted me to take the dance program that Paul VI has to offer. (PVI's the high school btw.) And I reaaaaly didn't want to, so she told me to "find an activity, so long as you're not on your butt." So my dad, out of the blue mentions cross country.I look it up and find a bunch of articles under'How to get fit for cross country', but I found one that nearly described exactly what I was asking, I'm a not-so-fit teen who wants tostart something new cross country sounds cool, what's it all about? Her answer had a link to runnersworld about going from the couch to the course. Sounds good. I'm starting tommorow with the recommended plan 10-12 weeks off waking/running for 30 mins. Every day, Start with a stretch, walk and then gradually move into run and repeat each day untill you are running comfortably for the entire run. Yay cheer me on!!!!
Well since Mother Nature decided to send South Jersey one heckuva s****storm(hetalia refrence!!!) So I didnt start yet..YETbut tomorrow ill probably be out there…
